In the past financial year, we’ve seen some markedly positive progress in exceeding our targets for providing new homes across the east of England. We are delighted to announce that we have surpassed expectations by delivering a total of 744 new homes, marking a significant milestone in our mission to address the region’s housing needs.
Among these newly completed homes, we are proud to have welcomed 66 outright sale customers, 191 shared ownership customers and nine shared equity homeowners into their new homes. This diverse range of home ownership options reflects our commitment to offering housing solutions that cater to varying needs and preferences within our communities.
On top of that, we have successfully handed over 464 affordable rent homes to Flagship Group’s three housing associations (Newtide, Victory, and Samphire Homes), furthering our dedication to providing high-quality, affordable housing options for individuals and families across the region.
Furthermore, we are pleased to report significant progress on our partnership contracts and three joint ventures, which have played a crucial role in facilitating the development and delivery of these new homes.
We have achieved planning approval for many new developments, paving the way for future expansion and growth in our housing portfolio.
Central to our success has been our close collaboration with 15 developers and 11 main contractors across the east of England. These valued partners have played an integral role in bringing our vision to fruition, demonstrating their commitment to excellence and innovation in the construction and development sectors.
Commenting on the figures, Flagship Homes managing director Tony Tann said: “This really shows our commitment and dedication to meeting the evolving housing needs of our communities.
“As we move forward, we will continue our collaborative efforts, leveraging partnerships and embracing innovative solutions to ensure that everyone has access to safe, affordable, and high-quality housing to achieve our vision of solving the housing crisis.”
