New affordable homes coming to Cambridgeshire village

Millstone ParkWork has started on a 139-home development in Burwell, Cambridgeshire. Flagship Homes will acquire 40 of the new homes for affordable rent and Shared Ownership

Families in Burwell in Cambridgeshire will soon have new, affordable homes to call their own, as construction gets underway on a new development called Millstone Park.
Flagship Homes – part of Bromford Flagship – is working with Vistry Group and This Land to bring a mix of 40 affordable rent and Shared Ownership homes to the village.
They will be part of a bigger 139-home development. The new homes range from two to five bedrooms, and they are being built with solar panels and electric vehicle charging points as standard.
Flagship Homes is acquiring the 40 homes under a Section 106 agreement, which ensures ‘affordable’ rental homes are built alongside those for to be sold on the open market.
The first affordable homes should be ready between April 2026 and May 2027, giving local families on the housing register something concrete to look forward to.
Tony Tann, Flagship Homes Managing Director, said: “Working with good partners like Vistry and This Land means we can offer quality homes that local people actually need. Burwell deserves better housing options, and these homes will make a real difference to families who’ve been waiting.”
Millstone Park follows years of planning, and is now on the way to becoming a neighbourhood where people can put down roots and thrive.
